Grand Street Dental X Dusen Dusen PPE

Frustrated with the lack of stylish, sustainable protective options for medical personnel, Dr. Jennifer Plotnick went on a quest to create a lightweight, fashionable and comfortable option for PPE.

Learning to sew in 1 months time, Dr. Plotnick created a mock up for the gown and teamed up with her patient, the incredibly talented Ellen Van Dusen of Brooklyn’s Dusen Dusen to create fitted, stylish PPE during the COVID epidemic featuring the brand’s ‘Stones’ print. Designed and fit tested on our stoops in Brooklyn, 6 feet apart.

Dusen Dusen is known world wide for bold playful designs and creative use of pattern for women’s clothing and home goods. We are beyond grateful for her generosity during this time to help doctors get back to work!
