She was waiting for the right time to really rehabilitate her smile and came to me to restore her smile after finishing Invisalign to straighten her bite.

This patient presented with irregular spacing between her front teeth and wanted to have a more refined smile. For years she tried to “fill in the gaps” with composite resin, which would regularly chip and break as well as stain. I wanted to give her a more mature and dominant smile, by increasing the width and length of her front teeth to bring more attention and symmetry to her smile while setting the tone for the other teeth to flow back.

I restored her with 10 porcelain veneers and added two porcelain tips to her lower canines. I chose a light natural shade to create a flawless and undetectable result. She now feels super confident and feels like her teeth now complete her look.

In her case, I started with alignment with Invisalign (approximately 1 year) followed by a crown lengthening or a “Gum Lift” performed by a periodontist to expose more of her tooth structure that was being hidden by her gums. I restored her with 10 beautiful porcelain veneers.

The patient came to us originally wanting to close the black triangles at the top of her teeth. She has gone through orthodontics, oral surgery and most recently before seeing me, gum grafting to fix her recession or gum loss at the top of her tooth. She also had some darker teeth and wanted a real makeover. It would be an understatement to say that she was ready.

For her case I decided to do 10 porcelain veneers as well as internal bleaching on her canines to lift up the grey from her previous root canal. I chose a lighter bleach shade blending with a warmer tone at the gumline and between the teeth to really get that natural look. I incorporated a natural incisal edge with slight chipping and translucency to mimic natural teeth. The patient is THRILLED.
